P Class DAFs

The P Class (P1-40) DAF SB220s with Plaxton Verde bodywork will soon be withdrawn from service in Phibsboro and replaced by brand new AVs, currently being delivered, and ADs from Conyngham Road and Donnybrook. Below are some shots of this class taken around town on 29 May 2003.

Above: P2 (93-D-3002) was the first member of the class to be registered with a 1993 reg, P1 having the reg 92-D20001. It seen coming around from D'Olier Street onto College Street operating route 122 to Drimnagh.

Below: P17 turning off Parnell Square East onto Parnell Street to take up a duty on route 40 to Finglas.

Above: P25 one of the few of the class to wear the City Imp livery is seen on Parnell Street.

Below: P29 is seen in Hawkins Street just after pulling away from the stop operating an outbound journey on route 39 to Clonsilla.

Below: P40, the final member of the class, is seen on Townsend Street operating in on route 37 from Castleknock.
