VL Class

In late 1997 and early 1998 Dublin Bus took delivery of 6 Volvo B10L low-floor single-deckers with Alexander bodywork. They have Volvo DH10A-245 engines and ZF4HP500 fully automatic transmission with integral retarder.

All operate from Donnybrook garage on the route 1, 2 & 3. They were the first full size low-floor buses delivered to Dublin Bus. VL6 was powered by compressed natural gas but has returned to Volvo.
